Fish Are Fronds

Ahoooooooooy!!!!!!!! Hi there folks.

Well, to start this post off, another one of my great friends is leaving today at 8 to go to the Provo MTC and then head over to Malaga, Spain. Don't worry I'm not tearing up......... that much. David FillyFillmore is a rockin guy. One of the coolest guys I know. I'm definitely going to miss that guy.

Anyways, this week at camp we have (drum roll please) 94 kids in the morning!!!!!!! Ah yeah it awesome!

I think this is going to be a short one. Maybe I'll add stuff later when it's not 2 in the morning.

But for now, love Ry Ry.

Edit: Forgot to Put a Title

Oh my grandma's cookies it has been a while. Here's the reason why. I get home around 5:30, eat, and then relax from like 7 to 12. At 12 I'm like oh I should do a post but then I fall asleep with my laptop on my lap. So yeah sowwwwwwy.

Anyway's. Recap time!!!!!!!!
Last week: Monday night I was watching a movie on netflix which ended around 12 at night. After it finished I remembered I had, and I mean I HAD to watch Parent Trap for one of my campers because she said it was her favorite and I promised her that I would watch it so I didn't get to bed till 3 that night. Fun stuff. Hmmmmm what else. Over the weekend I watched the Little Rascals. Not to bad, rather rewatch The Parent Trap.

This week:
Ok so this week has been different. So far each day we have had an incident. Monday we had a kid try to walk home because apparently he lived on the bay. We spent like 30 minutes looking for him. Yesterday, Tuesday, my coworkers catamaran broke. The line that holds up the sail at the very top snapped and his sail came down. We are supposed to be back at camp by around 11:45ish. He didn't get back till 12:50. There were some mad parents. Not due to the sail breaking but the lack of communication to see what was going on. One parent was like you should buy 80 dollar walkie talkies and I'm thinking ok you can buy those for us. Parents. And then today, my catamaran broke too. Ughhhh. It's not our week clearly. There are two cables on each side of the boat that hold up the mast. Well one snapped. The kids loved it. They were saying that this was the best day ever and that I was the best sailor.

David leaves in a stinkin' week. I can't believe he is leaving me to go on a mission to Malaga, Spain. No I'm just yoking. I'm proud of him and he is going to have the best time of his life. Last night he had a steak dinner which is where his quorum gets together, eat steak, and share testimonies. Well, I cried at Spencer's and was hoping not to cry at David's but as you can guess I did. I cried like a little baby. But it was all good. He teared up a little as I was giving my testimony.

Last summer, my friendship with Spencer and David grew exponential. Like through the roof of the tallest building in the world. This summer, since Spencer is gone, I have hung out with David more and our friendship has grown more. Two great guys doing great things.

Well, hopefully that's all I have to say. I hope I didn't leave anything out.

Enjoy some pics!!!!!!!!!

Life is Like a Box of Chocolates

So yeah. I told this kid at camp if we wanted to go to the bathroom he had to buy me pizza. He immediately replies saying "Life is like a box of chocolates. You never know if there is pizza inside and today there isn't any." Yeah. I just got told up. Anyways.

So Sunday I went to David's YSA Ward to hear him give a speech since he'll be leaving to Spain in like 14 days!!!!!!!!!! Don't leave me!!!! But yeah that was cool but he is having another one this Sunday that will be better.

Hmmmmmm I have nothing else to say so this will be a short one.

Fart nuggets!!

P.S. My view count isn't that high. Jk I don't care.

Mission Bay Fo DAYZZZZZZZZZZZ

Yo what up homies or homie. I don't know who all reads these posts as long as they enjoy them.

So it's been some time since I've posted. Updates!! Updates!!! Get your updates!!! Read alllll about it!!! Here at Dee best blogspot you can find!!! Only 25 cents!

July 4th!!: I know a little late. But I went to Caroline's work with me sis and just hungout with her and her coworkers and had some smorrrrres. Let me tell you that three day weekend was hard because I woke up on Friday and didn't have work so I thought it was Saturday buuuuut nooo it wasn't. And then when I woke up on Saturday I thought it was Sunday and was like yes camp starts again tomorrow but when I went to the kitchen to eat pancakes there weren't any because it wasn't Sunday. Annoying.

This past week: Camp we have 65 in the morning and like 40 some kids in the afternoon. Not crazy. Last year the most we had was like 90 some kids in one session. Anyways, camp is pretty awesome. Just love the kids, the kids love me at least I think and they tell me I'm the best but as long as they're having fun, I am. For those who just love to know my schedule so you can refer to it, it is:
                         Monday         Tuesday          Wednesday          Thursday             Friday
Morning            Beach             Catamarans    Kayaks                 Sailboats             Stand up paddle
Afternoon         Sailboats         SUPS             Cats                      Kayaks               Beach

So yeah memorize this for the rest of your life.
I became king of Mission Bay this past week so treat me nicely or loose your head. I was knighting kids and errthang.

Miscellaneous Stuff: The fair ended this past Monday so no more fried stuff. Oh my cousins from Switzerland came this Monday. Andrew and Anna. They are 23 and like 21 I think. They are pretty cool. Whenever I'm around them I speak like them. Saying Ja and nein.

Revolution of the campers
Well, well, well. As always thanks for reading. Hope you got a few chuckles. Oh and here's a rap I made with a camper and another counselor for the camper. His name is Charlie, or better known as Spice Pepperoni. Yo, My name is Charlie and I like to party. I have a cool hat and so does my friend Ryan. Don't think I'm lyin'. I'm here at Mission bay where we like to play. Word.

See you soon baboon!!!!!

Hola! Ni Hao! Hallo! Bonjour!

What's happenin, what's up!!

I know if I probs post in the morning or afternoon, I could get like a few 100 more views but that's ok. Hah.
Also, I'm not saying I'm pretty popular buuuuuut I did get 4 friend requests today. Yeah no biggy, just movin up in the social world.

So camp ended this week because there's no camp on the 4th. Camp was a little slow obviously since there was only 4 days of camp. This morning was a crazy sailing day. Ok so first I get my 11 kids on the boat and sail off the dock. At first there was very little wind and was like ok this will be a little boring. BUT. But after about 10 minutes the wind picks up and the boat starts leaning pretty crazy. Also, since it was before 11am there were power boats out on the bay creating some nice wakes. My favorite part was this one boat that creates big wakes so people can practice surfing in the bay and I go head on with the waves. The boat and waves are perpendicular to each other. I go up and then crash back down into the second wave right behind it and booooom!!! the front of the boat is completely submerged under water but only for a few seconds. It was sooooo cooooooool. Nothing else too exciting. There were these three kids who were trouble makers and ugh they never listened and I just wanted to smack them with my paddle.

Besides from work nothing else exciting is happening with me. Just staying up late and watching The Office or rewatching Bob's Burgers. Both super hilarious.

I'll hopefully see you beauties later!!

Happy Early 4th of July!!!!!!!!!!

Sssssssssssssssssssssssssssmm...... BOOM. (Firework) Yeah so it's almost 4th of July and I'm trying to figure out what to do since I'm sooooo popular here and my calendar is full of things to do. Hahaha no. Actually so far I don't really have anything exciting going on. I hope you all have something fun to do.

This week at camp has been pretty good. 26 kids in the morning and 11 in the afternoon. So yeah it's a slow week. We also don't have camp this Friday because of obvious reasons. Next week will be poppin!!!!!! I'm expecting to see like 70-80 kids in just the morning session. Yep you read that right. It'll be soooo fun and yet soooo krazy. I'm apart of the K3WL Kids club. Nothing to exciting this week so far since my last post. Just the more of the fair and nothingness.

Welp. I guess th th th th th th th th that's all folks!!!!!!

Stay wild!!!!!!!!!!!

Late Night Blog #11

Well it's blog number 11. Yaay!!!!! So tomorrow is burrito Thursday because we my friends get burritos in the morning because we go sailing in the morning and there is barely any wind so we can eat on the boats. It's more of a thing we do now. Most of the campers think I'm the best and that I'm the number 2 counselor. That's right #2 because wait for it... Because "first the worst, second the best" so yeah what's up. But I guess I'm a pretty cool counselor because I just love the kids! Although I have many scratches from the kids and they always jump on my sunburn.

Saw 22 Jump Street last night and that movie was awesome!!!! Supes hilarious and at one point I started crying since I was laughing so hard. It's a pretty crazy movie. Don'e want to spoil anything from the movie!

Sleep tight, don't let the frostbite bight!

Oh. My. Ghundi.

Today was a blast! That's it. End of my blog. Not. But fo realz today was awesome. About 45 7-8 yolds in the morning session and I probs got like 40 of their names memorized and who's who. They are so much fun and they love me and I love them and they are just so cool. Today was a true summer day at the bay. Nice rhyme Ryan. Oh thanks Ryan. So yeah we just played at the bay today doing random things since it was beach day and it was a good way to start off the week.

Secondly, as you all remember my sis recently got her permit so my dad was all like let's go practice driving in a parking lot area. Okay sounds like fun. About after 20-25 minutes a cop shows up and pulls us over in the parking lot and asks my sister if she has her drivers license or permit but she didn't. The cop ended up giving us a break since she was just learning but what a great second day driving lesson. She'll never forget that.

Stay beautiful friends!

Wellllllll It's Almost Week Two (1 Hr)

Heeeeeeeyyyy Hoooooo everybody. Week 2 of camp starts tomorrow! Woop woop. I will be working with 7-8 yolds or else someone is going to have a fit. I'm going to tell you who but I think you might know.

Anyways, went to church to day and of course I looked like a stud..... for a little kid. But yeah church was cool because all the primary kids got up and sang. It was super adorable. Kids are the greatest.

Oh oh. My sister is learning how to drive. Oh goodness. Be careful when you're driving to SD to visit me. She just got her permit and took her driving today and boy is she gunna be cray cray on the road.

Yeah that's my Sunday!! Supes exciting. I know it's short but who cares cuz I don't. #nolimit #dowhatiwant #iamaman #thatlasthashtagisconfusing #thesearegettingrediculous #thisismylastone

Hahahahahahahaha I'm weird. Or awesome. Or chill. Or cool. Or I'll just end it here.

Cshhhh (walkie talkie sound) This is Ryan saying goodbye fronds Cshhhh.

Edit: Errbody should check out the song Habits (Stay High Remix) by Tove Lo. Best. Song. Ever. Well. One. Of. Them.

End of Week 1

I'll probs have my timeline in reference to summer camp so.... GET USE TO IT!

To begin the end of this week, week 1 of camp ended. Sort of glad and sort of sad. For this first week I was the only counselor in charge of the 4-6 age group and there were only three in the morning session and three in the afternoon session and they were adorable!!!!!! They say the funniest things, like this one kid, Hudson, was telling me in the morning that we should tell the other two kids that they are to "early" (he meant late) and send them home so it would be just him and I. The kids would play hide and seek on a sailboat. If you know anything about sailboats, let me put it this way, there is no place to hide on a sailboat. But hey they weren't complaining and they loved it.

Tonight David, Caroline, Regina, and I went to Baked Bear and they have bomb ice cream sandwiches. You can choose your cookies or even have brownies as the sandwich part and then choose an ice cream flavor. Then we just walked around Pacific Beach for a little bit. We were gunna tp some kids house who shall remain nameless but everyone was to tired except me because I'm a man.

And that concludes this late night post.

Over n out!

First Day at the Fair!!!!!!

So we'll start with the beginning of my day. As always work starts around 8:30, at least that's when I need to show up. Camp really starts at 9. This was the first week of camp and I've been working with 4-6 year olds. They. Are. So. Precious!!!!!!!!!!!! I have 3 in the morning and 3 in the afternoon and they are just so adorable. Last summer my boss told me this place will make not want kids but there must be something wrong with me because I just really want kids. They call me teacher and so the most random things ever!

Now after work David, Caroline, and I went to the Del Mar Fair (Fab Fair is what it's called) for the first time this summer. David is not off to a good start for as he already purchased a 30 dollar shoe cleaning kit. Oh Daveed. The fair is pretty cool since they're not for just deep frying almost everything. At the end of the fair we got really bored because alls we did was just walk around the park about 40,000 times haha but we did walk around a lot. But yeah at the end we decided to "help" take pictures of groups of people but as you all know since I'm so good at selfies, the three of us would take selfies before we took the actual photo of them. Great time great times.

Welp that was my day. I hope all you folks had equal amounts of fun or better!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

LATER!!

Midnight Journey With David!!!!!

Be prepared for an awesome, exciting, thrilling adventure story! Ok so tonight I was supposed to go to the Del Mar Fair with David, Caroline, and Hailey but the fair was closed! I know right, dumb. So we went to David's house to think of other things to do. One of them was to watch a Padre game but the Padres had to be at an away game. Then we thought of a comedy club thing but nooooooo you had to be 21 and up. Lame! We finally decided our plan was to watch two movies and tp a house. But who follows a plan right? So we get to the moves via Caroline, thank you for the ride. So after the first movie, we were planning on movie hopping to the second one. I know we're so bad right. But about 10 minutes into the second movie Caroline had to take Hailey home since Hailey had to take her dad to the airport early morning. David and I decided to stay and finish the whole movie and try and find a way back home and if not we would just walk back to David's house. The second movie ended at 12 and we got to David's house at 1:10ish so you guessed we probably walked. What an adventure it was. First, we had to climb over some bushes so we could walk along side of the freeway and I don't how familiar all my fans are with freeways but it was the 15 freeway. That was different walking along the side of the freeway. David was even crazier by running across the one side which is 5 lanes wide. Oh David. Craziness the whole night. Also, you can guess we didn't tp the house.

Some side notes, we watched The Neighbors and A Million Ways to Die in the West.

Also, I know I said I'll be blogging every Friday but I might be blogging errday because I'm sure all my fans out there want to read about my life everyday.

Thanks for reading all 0-5 of my fans.

Hasta la vista bebe!!!

Sunday Funday!!!

Okay I know last post I said I would post on Fridays but. Buuuuuuuuut. Today is an exception and expect more of these.

So today, more like in the evening, I had dinner over at my best friends house, SPENCER!, even though he wasn't there. The Whatcotts are awesome people and just plain great. The food was awesome and I had pumpkin pie for the first time! I know, I'm steppin up in life hahaha no. Afterwards, went over to Davids house and watched a pretty cool movie called Double Jeopardy. Finally, came home around 11. And then to end the day I found an awesome video with an awesome background song. So yeah that was my day.

Have a totally awesome day!!!!!!!
Rip it, roll it, and punch it!!!!!
