If a Dog and a Piecost Were to Race, Who Would Win?

Did you come here to learn about what the plural form of octopus is? Well, if the answer is yes, them you came to the right place.

Octopus was introduced into the English language in the 1700s, so naturally it was given the English plural, octopuses. But at the time, grammarians were using the Latin plural to make things uniform and clean, which would be octopi. But hold onto your socks, because the word octopus is of Greek origin so the technical plural form of octopus is octopodes (Pronounced OC-TOPO-DEES).

So there you go. The more you know.

Sooooooooo much has happened since 2014, but I'm not going to write about it all.
Highlights:
- I've married and then divorced...........twice.
- I have one kid from a side chick
- I'm a part time lumberjack
- I made it to the quarterfinals of American Idol
- I've still been working out.

Thank you to all my lovely readers. Especially you, you know who you are ;) (If you're not sure, just ask and I'll tell you).

Tooooooodles!

  1. What's a piecost? Were you the guy who performed "Summer" by Calvin Harris and made the judges cry? I cried.

    1. A pie cost about $5-6, ooooooh got 'em. And yes, yes I did perform Summer. The only reason I did not win the whole singing competition was due to me having to give a talk about Quantum Space Particles in Geneva, Switzerland.

      Thank You for your comment!
